Our Products
We craft and curate a variety of bagged treats (perfect for training or treating), as well as quick "I-love-you" chews like whole sardines or chicken feet, and long lasting enrichment chews like our signature beef roll.

About
Hugh is the owner & creator of Pawvidence Treat Trading Co. Born in the year of the dog and raised in Rhode Island, Hugh's passion for pets started in his childhood home which was filled with equal parts purebred show dogs and shelter rescues. He has dedicated much of his life to advocacy, animal welfare, and now, improving the lives of our animal friends from the inside out.
​
Complementary to his day job as a Canine Behavior Specialist, Hugh is constantly researching and analyzing the field of animal health and nutrition. Prior to Pawvidence and his current role in animal welfare, Hugh spent several years in sales within the pet food industry, learning every company, brand, and preparation style of pet food there is.
The more he learned, the more difficult it became to find a pet food that checked all the boxes... true, high-nutrient food made of real protein, sourced from farms that treated their animals with care and respect, and didn't break the bank.

Hence, Pawvidence Treat Trading Co. was born... it's his very own brand of nutritionally-rich, high-quality, ethically-sourced treats that we are excited to share with you all!
Our Inspiration
Tucker is our original Pawvidence dog and is one of the inspirations for the business because he was the catalyst for the extensive research that brought Pawvidence to life.
​
Tucker spent most of his life eating a very mainstream, conventional kibble. When he was diagnosed with three different types of aggressive cancers out of nowhere, we knew something had to change, and fast. It only made sense to take a closer look at what was going into his bowl. Disappointed in what we discovered, we decided to commit 100% to providing the best possible diet for Tuckerdog that we could.
​
Given the aggressive nature of the cancers, the oncologist estimated that Tucker had 3–6 months left with us. But by radically changing his "dog food" from highly processed, nutritionally deficient kibble to real, whole food ingredients, Tucker's health improved extraordinarily and he ended up living his best life for the next three and a half YEARS. In fact, the cancers stopped growing completely for longer than anyone thought possible!

That's when we knew, sometimes the best treatment truly comes from the inside out.
​
Tucker's journey ignited our passion to seek the best sources of food for him and the rest of our four-legged friends. Now, we want to share what we've learned with our community, through some of our very own treats!
